hydrated lime

evening all. had to finish a s+c render job this morning. last chance before the big freeze sets in. my questions is can you put too much lime in your top coat. usually put one good shovel to a gauage (mini belle mixer load). but didn't want it to hang around all day for it so upped it to two good shovels. will this do any harm. it rubbed up as normal.. thanks for any posts back in advance.. claw75

Should be fine mate, I prefer lime to plazzy as you can bring it back to life a bit.

should be a shovel of lime to every 4/5 sand mate you might be able to squeeze 3 in

12 sand, half a bag of dust and 2 shovels of lime in small belle mixer is about 6.1.1.
