@beddy. Had mine for about two weeks now, been reading with great interest the results guys on here have had with them, just wondering what you thought of the finish, maybe im getting on too quick or too late, but on close inspection not the best finish ive seen, any suggestions?

I agree,as I said before you need a keen eye on it as you trowel it, you can finish with it but need to know its and your limitations,

i try to put the first coat on fairly neat, not perfect, but near the mark. when i come around with the second coat i apply a little more pressure on the trowel, taking out ny lines whilst at the same time applying the second coat, saves lots of time and allows you to put on more

theres so many ways to make these trowels work for you personally i diddnt really change much only mabey keep the blade closer i diddnt sand it down or change any timings really. you should instinctively know what to do from just looking at the skim

spot on!!!

The reason i ask , is everyone was saying you can get on earlier, so trying to work out how much earlier, yes its great at flattening and getting lines out earlier than with mt, but when final finish is supposedly done, on close inspection it looks pitted, so either im being far to gentle with it, or i need to wear it in a bit more

Went to a job I did months ago using the s*p*r*lex and it painted up nicely. I use a little water still on the last 2 trowels, tried without water and didn't seem to trowel up as nice

i prefer to use it with water as opposed to none but it only gets like a tiny little wipe at the begining of the wipe mabey 4 inches and proberly only every 3 or 4 wipes mabey more

I love this trowel totally converted from mt tried it on boards for a month now great on a overskim great but no good on hand turned cove ! Trying to convert some plasterer an work with hes just to tight to change he buys his buckets from asda ! God I hate him and ive been with him for 14 years lol# mingebag

I keep looking but dont know what route to go down. I just use a MT for the lot. So what gets everyones vote, super flex, plazi, eze?
