I saw a bloke once stick boards to a garage ceiling with drywall adhesive, dunno why.

We did this once. Concrete ceiling an for some reason owner didnt want it battened. Had to secondary fix obviously. Took longer and riskier than battening.

I know of a chippy that stuck insulated p-board to the concrete ceilings in his flat with sticks like s**tIt was not me that plastered but they are still up as far as I know and it's been a couple of years.
