Is it even worth it?

Most of you if not all know my situation.
But something's niggling at the back of my mind.. Find myself down sometimes about the future like a lot of us do and I'm simply contemplating wether it's worth it to even come back.

You'll all know I'm looking to start up myself but there's so many things I have to do when I get back to sort it all. Couple that with things like brexit and my girl being Polish I'm just terrified if what it all holds. A lot of you will say, stick with Poland, countries f**k*d etc.. But I'm really desperate to get back into the trade, I miss it. I only stopped because I wanted to see the world.

Maybe I just need a cuddle

Mate there's loads of work at the moment but you never know what's around the corner, just get a goal and go for it. There's money here but there is in most western countries I guess

I think there’s two things to take into consideration here:

A. I’m not sure if the British general public are quite ready for you!

B. I hear things are looking up in Poland and that there are more polish over here returning to Poland than are now heading over our way

Unfortunately *****... There is no crystal ball to have a wee peep into the future.
And no one can give you the definitive answer, only advice, and that will vary.. Go for it or don't go for it?
Sometimes you need to go with your gut feeling?.....but even that ain't always correct.

Faint heart never f**k*d a pig.
You’ll be ok whatever you do. Sometimes we have an itch we just have to scratch.
Good luck.

I love that expression! Said it to Si the other day and he looked at me in utter disgust lol! .... but then he spends 80% of the time telling me I’m a wrong’un

I’ve been reading that there’s another big crash coming next year. Trump cutting taxes and raising spending along with the Chinese economy two of the big factors that will be to blame. Add into that the banks not sorting there sh it after last one.

I appreciate your replies guys.
Obviously they do plastering in Poland, but it's not a "thing" here if you know what I mean. Guys are sort of jack of all trades and even though I speak the language a little, it's difficult to find out about it with a full extent of the language. Saw a few guys doing a bit of work at the gym I frequent, just corners that had been ripped off round a door frame. They'd patched it up but were using like fast set and joint cement or the equivalent to. Was shocking work. I really don't think it's a big thing here. It's done obviously but just not like we do.

Life is pretty good I guess. Jobs demanding. The admin side anyway; I generally love teaching and am damn good at it but we don't get paid in summer for example, we get paid less when we have holidays which are like every month. That's most teaching jobs everywhere in Europe.

I want my kid to be raised in Britain you know? I feel like it's time to come home. Someone already said go with your gut. I wanna put everything into it when I get back, it won't be a half-arsed attempt. I guess I just wanted to know that the work and everything is there for me and mostly if I'm gonna have problems moving my girl here, Maybe someone like @Olican knows something about Brexit and what the downsides are. I kind of already feel like a foreigner because I've been away so long.

Don't understand that as they don,t seem to have any problems when they are over here with the way we do things?

If you’re wife’s not happy living in uk. It’s not going to work. Could you not get work. As private tutor. Or get a job in uk move over on your own then bring family over including mother in law..
