Yeah building sand is a big no no down here to, it's shite and got no body, can brush off after....Nice to use mind...But not for rendering, seen it fail loads of times

Thank fck I'm not down your way then.:RpS_thumbup:

Have to say, if I have to do a job, normally for Asians, and there is building sand left over and they want to save a few quid (it does happen you know), I ALWAYS get them to sign a note stating that it WILL crack?

It rubs up lovely but ALWAYS cracks.

Ah well, couldn't happen to nicer people

Just a matter of interest, what do you add to your mix as I've never used lime the past 3 or 4 years when I replaced it with freeflo

i used sika on a big house up totteridge way once, diddnt like it i thought it made the render feel really heavy and dead?? i dnt mid that kingfisher stuff.
i thnk the worst stuff ive used was a prebagged damp proofing render, i think it was renderguard gold dr5, dog s**t stuff flat as a withces tit and stickey as fook

Do you have our commonwealth cousins over there?

I cant help but think they are all rich with cash being taxi drivers like. So I always give a good price in my favour. Never seem to get the job though?
