:-? i plaster 6 days a week at least and recently in the morning when i wake my ring finger and my lil finger on my trowel hand lock up and it takes ages to get them to free up, was rely freeked out the 1st time this happened but now kinda getting used to it part from they,ve started hurtin a bit in the day now, just wondering if this has happened to anyone out there? if so any cure part from comin off the tools?

Does ya use different trowels?, Ive found sticking with same type trowel (and handle) has helped, never had it that far down mi hand though, generally middle finger that takes a beating.

would you lads with the problems say you have big hands, small hands or medium?
reason i ask is ive never seen a 'size' on a handle/trowel...
gotta make some sense somewhere...

ive got medium size hands, are u saying that there should be different size handles for different size hands

Exactly, Anthropometric design of trowel handles, mi next job. ;D

i had trouble with my hands i trimmed the wooden handle on the trowel made them quite thin made a lot of difference when i bought a durasoft handle i thought i would struggle but was ok

Once you get used to the wooden handles theres no turning back. I have a few durasoft trowels but prefer my old marshaltown wooden handle any day ;) I have never had the claw hand as scott puts it, but it does sound unpleasant. I used to work with this guy who used a durasoft handle and it was worn right back to the black he must of had some grip on his handle ;D

yeah u make that custom size handle n i pay u mate! xxxxs ;)
i got lil dwaf hands and i got a durasoft handle so make a skiny diddy size one for me.
claw hand i like that im goin to use that, gota say im glad i aint the only one out there.
