Can’t really tell mate.
There's a video of a spider building a web on LSD.Customer done boarding,i was their a few years ago doing his attic,he did same thing,i said every 300mm will do. Best of it not one screw on ceiling needed tightening.

"You can't do that!"
"WRONG!"
He never broke bond also.It looks like he put the boards on the wrong way not across the joists.
Yes,though some prefer 200mm spacing, it would do no harm with that amount of screws but think its overkill on standard 12.5mm. Depends on weight of board.the ceiling is lowered,he has framed it to his own spec.Actually I don't think there are too many screws. In fact there are clearly screws missing/too far from the edges.
@Donzo you seriously think that every 300mm on a ceiling is acceptable?
Its a age old debate, look at Internet different specs. If it ain't cracking is it wrong.agree with Andy 300mm to far apart..... minimum 5 screws per joist on 6x3's, minimum 7 screws per joist on 8x4's
Hi mate, Can you do me a favour? Tell the joiner I said he’s a c**t!I need to up my game,,,, joiner says spec is 150mm space on ceilings, more if boards are damp.200mm on walls.standard boards.
There are regs, it is not a case of what you prefer. I would prefer one in each corner and one in the middle.Yes,though some prefer 200mm spacing, it would do no harm with that amount of screws but think its overkill on standard 12.5mm. And board ends. The only spec for 150mm centres is around m/f door openings.
Nope.And board ends.
Oh yes!Nope.
No danger,2 large rooms where done a few years ago the exact same way and they are fine,I seen them today.Looks like they are all going to blow. Awful job.
It used to be seven across a board and eight on the ends. Apparently they changed it to six across and seven on the ends. And board ends.
Maybe you were on the limit then, a few more in between could of done the trick hahaNo danger,2 large rooms where done a few years ago the exact same way and they are fine,I seen them today.
Oh yes!
