Can you do 2 weeks isolation if you have already booked when you return.
I'm booked for September,

You are bananas. I booked holiday last november.u nut.
 
Still sitting tight and hoping we get our money back for a Holiday with TUI in June. Ironically the holiday is in Corfu which is one of the safest destinations as there’s no virus there. They’re wanting us to transfer the holiday to next year but I just want my money with these uncertain times ahead.
 
Was due to be away now in caravan down south coast but they said it’s closed , this year we was gonna go for broke at 5 different places throughout the whole summer but they all are closed , I rebooked all the sites for the same times next year instead,
Can’t see anyone going on holidays in England or abroad this year at all tbf ,
Even if government said ok you can go in August think most people are gonna think f**k that , would feel like an absolute c**t myself driving into someone else’s town and to another country omg can imagine landing in Spain.
 
Luminosity cancelled at end of June. Hopefully Transmission Prague will be on in October. If not, Dreamstate in California in November. I live in hope.
 
Cancelled our trip to Majorca in August, even if the place is open it’d still be weird with the bar/restaurant situation and could you even imagine watching your kids jumping into a swimming pool :eek:

All gyms and pools are closed abroad.had a friend re booked for turkey in september.

Hotel said no pools,gym,buffet,bar will operating social distancing

He is still up for it,

Its nuts to think what it will be like,and we dont know if some countries will take us
Once flights commence. If some airlines are on the edge this will dump them unless they get bailed out.
 
Yeah I book flights/apartments separately, got deposit back for apartment but won’t get flight refunded by Jet2 if they’re still flying there, hopefully get it transferred to next year but will probably go bust by then
 
What happens then if airline goes bust nxt year and its atol protected do we still get our money back? Not sure how it works,meant to be going to a little town by the sea in Madeira in august.hotel and flights booked with love holidays and easy jet flying
 
I dont even want to go tbh as you lot say what's point with social distancing,will be in airport for a day collecting luggage

You need them to cancel for you to get refund
 
already had 2 cancelled, Majorca and mainland Spain , Jamaica booked for November but that's a waiting game now

I know John. Been ongoing for months this. Out the deposit down just before all this virus kicked off. Then we were forced to pay the balance of the holiday or we’d lose the £800 deposit. If only we’d have held off a bit longer I wouldn’t be £3600 down.

Haha that’s what we’re doing. Sitting tight to wAit for them to cancel on us. The holiday is 15th June but they’ve only cancelled up to 11th. If we sit it out and they say we can go we’re in the s**t cause the holiday would just be weird.
we’ve also got until the end of May to swap the holiday to next year. Bit of a poker faced stand off to see who buckles first.
 
We should be in Spain this week, with kids and grandkids. But am getting a full refund.. we've got one booked for September ,but not sure we'll want to go.

I'm exactly in same boat as u,booked in late jan,tried to cancel in feb sometime after I payed £400 and there told me it would cost me £1k to cancel,I said but what's point me paying you £400 a month until july for it to be cancelled,he said it will be fine in august I said doubt it pal.knew it

Could you swap to next year say a week b4 ur due to fly etc? Or do u have to sort it now? I'd rather go away nxt year than this,not in mood 4 intact all and it will be shite,I was meant to be in portugal this week 4 a stag do,ryan air so no chance getting that back

Weddings have been cancelled to August so they wont be letting you fly off on hol. Personally how I feel now I.d still go if it was on

Went to Jamaica in January, Negril, went off by my myself into the mountains to a rastafarian retreat, great experience chatting politics in a tree house with an authentic rasta living off the land. Only sour note was almost being abandoned by the taxi driver in the middle of nowhere too pissed and stoned to drive. Just cancelled a holiday to Sicily, not sure if getting money back, but more concerned about job than that at the moment.
 
Mines is awkward,owe my brother around £2000 for accommodation in Canada,he is retired ,so self isolation is not a issue when we return,wife cannot get time off work for another 2 weeks, waiting to see what's said today and see terms conditions,don't know if flights would be lost if I don't go.wait and see.
