Why would they crack? As long as the tape holds them in place long enough for the gear to set then they wouldn’t move any more than setting them in with gear before you skimYou’re all bonkers if you’re gonna use some random tape that the “inventor” knows f**k all about or even decided what it’s for lol.. on your own jobs just because it’s free.
Id be worried about a phone fall months later saying all the angles have cracked

The holes in the beads are letting skim grab some suction from the background and hold them on
That’s my understanding anyway
I’m more interested in trying it out as a high tac scrim on Re skims where there’s bad cracks, I always staple beads onto pboard and usually bed on with gear on reskim unless back ground is soft and I still stapleI agree with that, I just wouldn’t trust it. Just seems like a pointless risk for a non existent problem.
Not into a solid wall you wouldn’tBet i could clout nail a bead on quicker

I can see the benefits on small jobs, I did a chimney last week, background too hard for nails/staples and I didn’t want to hang around waiting for gear to grab hold so in that situation I would have used the new tape
I just bullnose themScrim tape.
Same principle for render mesh in skim. Why would they crack? As long as the tape holds them in place long enough for the gear to set then they wouldn’t move any more than setting them in with gear before you skim

It's only for beads at this stage and once plaster has set the tape has done it's job. You’re all bonkers if you’re gonna use some random tape that the “inventor” knows f**k all about or even decided what it’s for lol.. on your own jobs just because it’s free.

I've been using it for nearly two years.
"Carry on clouting"
The holes would accomadate the movementI get what you’re saying mate.
If clout nails won’t do it i’ll use scrim to hold them in place them skim em on. decent scrim easily holds a bead.
Tbh I’d not use it over cracks on re-skim. If a crack resurfaces through scrim tape then there’s movment. Movement would knock that tape off completely just like it does with papertape
put it down as marketing expense. You going to be bankrupt in no time sending them out with postage fees.
Can this tape be used externally over say a concrete lintel that you can’t nailput it down as marketing expense.
cheap as chips mate, for the time that will be saved in labour. It’s a gimmick n gonna be expensive too
yes, ideal for those kind of applications. Can this tape be used externally over say a concrete lintel that you can’t nail
