Many thanks for advice lads, means alot
have since emailed him (as so there is a paper trail) stating the Fis spec sheet, ( attached a photo) which clearing states tolerances regarding lighting etc also spoke with a rep on phone at British gypsum and he also backed up that what he's doing is b*ll***s, and that centre of room or 2m away with light direct at wall is the gauge they use. Have also stated in email that if any of the work is below this standard then remedial filling will be use when and where, but as he has already said it looks fine and can't feel anything on walls in normal daylight conditions, which I'm goner have to try an get in a text from him as at minute conversations have taken place over phone.
Will keep you posted on his response.
All I know about him is that hes called Richard and delta construction is the firm, have tried company house but nothing comes up, the job was in Carshalton where he works based haven't a clue as this was the first job for him via a phone call from him.
As I've said prior I'm not happy with it and will absolutely strive to do better going forward. I'm nowhere near the best spread far from it, but I do take pride in my work and try to do my best on every job, hiccups like these do knock the confidence and does get to me bit more than some people, but as the saying goes every day is a school day mistakes will be made and your always learning in the world of plastering.
Thanks again people for your help and advice, have a good weekend and hopefully it comes home!
