But my point is you priced it assuming you would get a plasterer into help now you couldn't find one put it on here for help then Pete as a good man said he would help so basically you took it on knowing it was too much we all been there myself included I'm not gonna argue because I've made it clear what I think and I don't operate that way because I know from past experience if it's to much and can't do alone and I can't get anyone into help I walk away if it's to much,I've been pretty lucky over last 3 years and haven't had that problem but I'm finally into a stage of my work rate that I can do most things,I hope this explains it now hoe your job goes well
 
Read the opening post....actually read it.....i told them I couldnt do it, there is another room to skim and the boarding....i gave them a price for that but said they would have to get a two man team in for the ceiling, they said the would get some more people in to see if the would A qoute for the full job B qoute just for the ceiling...they couldnt find a price they liked for the full job or anyone willing to do just the skim over my boarding so they came back to me to ask f I could try and get help with the skim....so I posted up the job.....youve started ripping into me and didnt even have the decency to read what I put

Am all ways pricing jobs and I don't think to myself do I have the men I'll price the job and if I get it I'll get the men simple as that
 
Lodan you seem to have a touch of the I know it all syndrome that we all go through come back when when you got more experience and talk to me properly,read what you said you said I told the bloke I'm a new starter (cough cough) then said you were a 1 man band and that it was to big for you,now forgive me if I'm wrong isn't that the same as turning it down,it's a classic case of doing a six week course and now you feel u can take on the world,you will learn you will learn just jump down off your horse and think before you speak

Classic case of someone and I've done it myself that I thought I knew it all syndrome been in the game 5 mins and telling me how it's done f**k off will ya,we all work our own ways but I know exactly what's happened here and getting defensive sort of proves my point I learnt the hard way and had to be told look you know f**k all yet you ain't ready so basically that's all I'm saying but in a polite way

Get some MP finish and you can piss a 55m2 by yourself and even manage to hump the customer in between coats and flattening............... just hope your customer is female??? :eek:

Thanks mate appreciate it, maybe just wasnt wording it right or something, s**t often gets mis interpreted when you write it down.

Looks like Lodans asked for a hand to do a job which is clearly a stretch for most on there own.
I wouldn't bust my balls on my own to do a 55m lid....id also pay to get someone in for a hand. Pay them exactly what Lodans offered for a day and done by dinner.
Next thing Pagey is off on one sounding like a bully trying to belittle him and chat what looks like utter tripe!
If he charged anymore you'd then be saying ahhh the coursers trying to charge proper money and he ain't got the experience yet blah blah.... Either way he was getting it then [emoji57]
