That's the one mate spot on not that I wanna know and on next one go just that bit higher til u feel that's what it's worth, way I try to prove my jobs is that I would like to think of it was my grandad or parents they would get a fair price at least you got a bench mark price wise what is your minimum if they want it cheap talk up why your a bit more expensive and proof on the pudding

I will let you say that to me as I find you funny and it's nice to know we are at the casual cunting stage it like a term of endearment :bananahappy:
some people take the big C word too serious :), all mates call each other c**t from time to time

Oh I love it at least if I'm called that and the ones who know me as it actually know who I am I've been called worse and now I just take it in my stride you can't label some people but with that label I'm happy ;)

I think that word has lost its shock value now and is widely excepted in the plastering community because if I got called that when I was an apprentice it was a good day and everything was going well, but few swear words in front of the c**t then I knew I was in trouble and I was in for it that day, simple maths

All this talk of midgets and necrophilia has put me in mind of "munting". Anyone tried that?

U sure Vince is alive? Hasn't been on here For a hour I'm getting worried...
Flipping got home and fell to sleep..ceiling did me in I only just woke up..

A bit peed off tbh..youngster lodan whooped my butt putting the gear on..either I am getting older and slower or he is younger and getting faster and better..

I Booked a few days off now to recover

Flipping courser's

No mate just the skim....it was part of a bigger job, all the boarding and skimming of the walls was all additional

Not the best of light for a photo but hey you did well for a courser bud..

Told the customer it was beyond me as quite new and a one man band, they just rung me to ask if I could get help as they cant get another plasterer. If anyone interested its £150 for the one big mix, in and out in 3-4 hours. If interested give me a call on 07769272081. the work will be on fresh board that I put up the day before....the date they want is 28th or 29th april.
Text me 07533598977. May be able to help mate

I'd have charged £500 for labour, so probably me
The question had nothing to do with labour.
But why say that about his materials costs then?
Regardless of what you charge for labour you should make a mark up on materials.
He can't catch a break the poor bloke.
He's honest enough to put on here what's he's doing and charging etc and all he gets is grief.
He's not charged enough labour, he charged to much for materials. As I said before if he went in at £500 he'd probably be told he shouldn't charge that being he's just done his course.

I was only winding him up about the material costs. To be honest I don't understand why it bothers people what others charge. Charge whatever you feel is right for the job, who cares if someone is charging less or more than you aslong as your happy with you're wage at the end of the day. I actually think @Lodan has done very well out of it, £175 for 4 hours work is good money no matter which part of the country you stay

Fair play.
Sorry I got the wrong end of the stick then.
Took it the wrong way.
