Anyone have tips on how to run a joddy? We’ve got one seems to work fine set the water to 7 primed the hose let powder run counted to three and turned water on let it go half way opened gate inch ish nothings overflowing just lumpy mixes
Tried turning water and hardwall off after reaching hardway kept gate closed to let it mix before turning water and hardwall back on opened gate running ok but still lumpy any ideas ?

Have you got the black powder cone down in the powder hopper, sounds like a powder flow problem.

Yes buddy, wet the pan a bit turn it on then when powder starts to drop in turn water on, wait for a while then open material outlet until mixed plaster level is kept about right, great bit of kit.

Thanks mate we’re going to have another go Wednesday I’m going to spend all day just mixing with it and my mate put it on so fingers crossed It runs ok, when I tried it the mixes were lumpy but I guess there’s a lot going on in that little mixing chamber so let’s see what happens, the skips empty anyway so loads of room for it if it goes completely tits up haha

Amazing too how everyone thinks hardwall is 20mm nowadays sparkies with there conduits and s**t brickies and linings at 15mm plus I honestly can’t remember the last hardwall job we did that was normal we’re even getting used to it everything’s two coats

We got it working!! Went really well had the whisk set up cause it was a little lumpy in places but just a quick spin with a whisk
Sorry for the shite video but I was panicking cause the hopper was low

And the floating looked shite don’t know why but it was tearing like mad I don’t know if it was unmixed lumps so before you prima Donnas start a wank fight about blah blah go stick you’re head in the oven
