Yeah use it all time. Mainly as my mesh coat on new block tho. But have used it and jlm to rub up as render finish

Thanks dansouthcoast. Got a job to do next week of London facing brick. Got to apply Jub primer (vezercryl?) then 10mm Jub Basic render.
Is there anything I need to know like setting times, methods of rubbing up, advantages and disadvantages etc?
I am am hoping to spray it.

Not really mate. Basic is good gear. I hand apply. So i put 8mm coat. Rule and mesh. Cover the mesh.let it pick up. Pull a tight one over then sponge when its turning

I dont know ocr prices. I pay 695 plus vat for basic. That goes 1.75m at 10mm

Direct in Bradford is charging £8.50 a bag. So it sound like a bit like W OCR? Spray 2/3, mesh then top third, serrated edge, spat, sponge.

OCR should never be more than 6.50. Thats dear considering you need to compete with site mix prices. Its great gear to use for straight render so is krend UF base.
Never knew JUB did a masonry base to be fair for thick rendering.

Agree a little steep. But for guarentees what can you do. Im not for one mixing and matching. I think its costly risk really.
Jub basic is for masonary only. They say not to use it even if youve hacked off. It trowels in better than jlm in my opinion. Dont tear

No, K rend in NI is as far as I have been.
Could try try buying off Jub direct next time. Jub quoted £25 for Vezercryl but direct charges £40.
