Where are you based ? 60-90 euro after tax, id want atleast 100 after tax and that is the min. Been getting 150 a day for my stone cash and finished a renovation where i did everything from new chimney, ripped out all subfloors, new UF insulation,concrete,screed, plumbing,lam floors, painted it, doors on, whole new wet room, some skimming old style and lots of slabbering work. HAd one or two on with me now and again. IT kind of spirialed and run on but was fair and only charged 150 a day for me and thats doing all the running about sorting materials and other stuff etc... I could have charged more and got it but thought f**k it, just be fair. She was well happy with the work and even thou the costs run over, she paid up without a peep because she understood how much effort i put in. Not like some here in the west where they huff and puff when its time to sq up. Have even had some say can they owe me it after all extras been put on lol

Up north mate, that's sterling, and aye only the more miserable f**k**s pay 60ish, going rate is bout 80 after tax atm give or take. It's still s**t enough, but a few years ago I know a few firms paid 70 BEFORE tax lol. Real miserable bastards and wanted lots done too lol

Aye know the craic about up here. Im from up north myself thou have heard wages have picked up better than what it was. Have a mate whos a brickie looking after a good squad. Hes flat out and on 150 adaythen a score extra for each man.

Mates a bricky too, he's making Damn good dough atm. He got 1250 for 3days a couple weeks ago. He's working hard for it don't get me wrong, but he's getting it. The wages are all picking up yeah, slowly but surely. Going the right direction though

Makes me laugh. Every body thinks other trades are making more they are not. U only here when they make a few pound. U don't here when they are getting f**k all. I did a gable last week on my own. €525 I made that day and a easy day to be honest. Did I make that the next day did I f**k . Made about 150. But I bet the carpenter was telling people the plasterer is making 500 a day.
