Has anyone had any experience using this product? Outside render to do, 200 year old farmhouse, take of S/C and redo in lime.
Thanks:RpS_cool: shades are for when the sun comes out!

yes used this before....

are you using a machine or hand apply ?

fine for hand application , very little or no cracking on basecoats

nice consistent mix ,better than making your own..

Hand balling! I've used ty mawr mainly but customer has asked if I cold use this. Did you finish setting coat or get the finish coat?
Is there any additives? Like hair or hemp? Or just mix up and put on?

i used the 213 backing coat and finish coat was coloured finish from l*m*-g***n ...(k lime not available through coloured)no did not add anything ...just as was from the bag

Do you only use hydrated lime then.?
the k-lime only seems the same as NHL pre mixed bags from any supplier.
do you mix ur own or get th pre-mix bulk bags?

we use k lime ,mono st astier or l*m*-g***n bagged renders because we can mix
and apply by machine.....esp outside work.

k lime no different to other brands and is just nhl 3.5 /sand

jv
if your not keen on using it and want to just make your own mix from plastering sand /nhl 3.5 you could tell your customer he will be paying a lot more for bagged product

k lime about 6.75 bag ....1m bag at 15mm approx ..
