K rend help !!

I’m taking on a k rend job which has been done but done badly can I use SBR over the old k rend and top coat straight after ?

Worked like a treat to be fair 2 coats of sbr diluted 1 in the morning and one in the afternoon Layed it on at 3 hopefully scratches ok in the morning

2 coats of sbr let one go completely off then lay it on over a tacky second coat of sbr
