K rend or monochouce

new to rendering just need some help only done 2jobs got a rendering job to do over sand and cement witch is badly cracked can I go over with k rend first pass and mesh then top coat and scratch can I use just Krend top coat as a base coat then top coat over and scratch can I double mesh cracks will it work or do I use Monochouse in stead do I do 10m or 15m Micky

K rend is a manufacturer. Monocouche is a type of render made by lots of manufacturers including K rend. so maybe re-ask the question.

i always thought weber used the word monocouche for their weber pral ,i could be wrong

Hello guys new to plasterers forum always had a nose on here for advice and what not, quick question I've done few jobs in k rend one thing that's annoying me is when scraping back tiny little holes appear sometimes not a lot just a couple I know how to fill them but what causes the krend to react like that as I do my two colour passes and close in then leave it till it's ready to be grated? Any advice

Do you use a serrated straight edge ?

I use it on my first pass of colour to level it out and get it flat

Spat it over after you have ruled mate

I reckon you'd only need a power scraper to take the surface off when it's really hard so it can be barred,any other time the bar does most of it and is quick enough. Other than that get some double scratch floats.

once you have ruled it Keith means use a refina spat the flexible one with a handle to smooth over ready for scraping
