It's less messy and dusty then using a scraper. We use Flex 700 sanders and flex dust extractor.

It doesn't sand back a comb ceiling but takes off high points like when scraping. Stipple it will take it almost all off.

Sanded artex and plastered before final sand

I've used the kanuf airless plaster this week. The finish on it is top class. And it's piss easy to use and finish. Am definitely going to use it on my next job. Thanks kanuf for sending me the bags to try out. I just used a screw pump to spray it and it was lovely to use. I can only imagine how much nicer to use with a piston pump. If you have a pump u should try it out. No videos can do it Justice how good the finish is.

@theclemo

Glad another guy that's used to spraying gypsum agrees. Did u like how clean it sprayed?

On overskims and board it's awesome

I just finished a couple of large jobs but may have a Ibis Hotel to do in Greenwich London soon. I've got 3 pistons and the Ritmo now so always looking for good guys

I couldn't get over how clean it was to spray. I still have a few bags am going to hire the piston pump u have and have a play about with that. I tried a bag at home with my pump just sprayed it on hit it with the eze spat. Then the wife phoned me. She was in labour in the hospital. So i just left the airless in the machine and hose and gun and went to the hospital. Didn't get back for about 20 hours. Went in to my machine thinking the worst. I turned it on and she started spraying no problem. got my old man to have a look at the finish of the airless. He told me am not right in the head if i keep using multi. He has been plastering 50+ year's. Is there any need to paint the ceilings when u use airless it drys out snow white. And when you paint over it do you need an undercoat?

When u sand the ceiling u take away the uniform whiteness so I does need painting. Unless it's really high then maybe not.

It dont need a undercoat just 2 top coats.

My old man said the same thing.

Going down to Edinburgh next mon and tue to see this gear in use would like to start using it myself.

I said whwn I saw this plaster probably 3 years ago that it was a game changer and the more I read about it and see it in action the more I beleive it.
