Krend cracks

Areas under and above windows have hairline cracks in k rend we based and meshed all the stress points and applied it to 15mm beads
personally think if render has cracked the clockwork behind it must of gone as well what does anyone else think ??????

Was it new build? When was it built and what block ? 3.6nm blocks

I have had this with k rend. You rule off and everything looks fine but when you scratch hairline cracks appear and air holes. IMO k rend is an inferior product compared with monocouche, parex, cemrend etc .

If you are cracking over meshed basecoat with FT next time try adding a touch more water to your mix and giving it a double mix with a rest in between, alternatively with K1 add a bit less. FT is cement heavy and not enough water can make it a bit strong, and K1 is not as cement heavy so too much water can make it too weak.

Always had problems with Krend Cracking, also depends on colour which somtimes may add to the problem
