Has anyone used this as an OCR...2 passes wet on wet?

Whats it like is it similar to Weber OCR? or is it better 2 coats?

Thanks

Can you use the Ocr on 7n blocks?
So if you did it in two passes could you prime and apply 1.5 m silicone?

Yes I've used it a fair bit and no it's a 2 coat system render
It has that k rend aggregate feel to it which I'm not keen on
Cheap though

Might as well use CPI then even cheaper...can you power float it?

Bobby out of interest why would you scratch and top with krend or cpi before thin coat when you could do it in 1 coat with 10mm beads dabbed on Weber OCR?

Sorry to jump in on someone else's question but K rend GP and CPI are supposed to be a 2 coat product. OCR is a one coat product. That's by the book. Some use them differently.

CPI/k rend to my knowledge can be used in a one coat system if being used internal for a backing coat for skim.
Also if it's being used external to receive a texture finish

I see...do you think the same would go for cullamix Tyrolean...got a job coming up and thought I'd give K Rend a try.

if you are going for a tyrolean cullamix finish you need extra lime in the render to give as much suction as poss.
