Krend on painted render questions

What's It like over painted render? If it sticks and I can towel it on I'm there!!
I'm just gonna get confused with which way to go!

Phone Anglia lime and ask them about it.

It's called thermalime. Knocks up and spreads like bonding.

I think they'll even send u out a free sample bag to try so you can see if it works.

In a nutshell, lots of stuff that will stick, choose your poison.

No one will guarantee that your paint will not peel off.

If your going to use hp12 you would be better off using tc15 bucket coat for the finish, less weight and less chance of cracking.Thats just my opinion tho.

Yes mate its nice gear to use sponges up nice or you can spat it flat and leave it. Don't have to be like glass if your using a 1.5mm or larger grain topcoat. If using 1mm it does have to be mint.

Cheers for that mate a was under the impression you had to spat then sponge before top coat. As a say used it on ft and thought it was spot on for a base but a found it a bit gluey and splitting if a messed on too much with it. Probably me trying to get it bang on too soon

Thanks for all the info and possible options on this fellas ... I do appreciate it. Its quite possible that I'm getting carried away and creating more work than necessary .... and judging by the advice opening a can of worms I might not be able to shut without a lot of expense.
Perhaps my Krend practise should be left for another time ... small garden wall, before attacking the house.
Also, I really am just trying to get this place is acceptable condition for sale, it's lovely internally now ;) ... so for external, maybe repair the cracks and some sort of high build masonry paint is the way to go for speed, cost and it looking 'reasonable' in the short term.

Just dunno ... anyway best get on!
