Lime and sand

Can I use this plastic mesh in hydraulic lime and sand scratch coat then just top it.Its over old stone with no cavity

Mate get rid of plastic mesh there’s no need also non hydraulic lime probably the better option

Non hydraulic coz it's more breathable then, and I just thought it would help putting mesh in with cracking tbh would I be better buying animal hair throwing that in or just leave it all together

U doing external or internal ?then again don’t see y that wouldn’t work using plastic n instead of animal hair
