Little mixer

Artex Boy
On my second mega mixer now and it’s getting tired. It’s also over-kill for some of my jobs.

Could do with a nice little 240v for the small jobs. Still has to be decent though..

Any recommendations?

I've got the refina one 1000w machine fckin bullet proof mate great for 2 bags that's about it after that struggling its tits off

My first mixer was a cheap one from ebay... was bloody great :D

a 240v mixer in my opinion is way better on domestic jobs than 110v :D

Nice one lads, will look into them. Alot of time I hand mix on small jobs as the 1800w refina is just too much, but can't fault that mixer at all.. think it's due bearings again and a full service though.

That's what I'm thinking.. I do lots of small jobs recently so would be ideal to have a little mixer. I've tried some over the years, had a makita ut121 or something, also one of those evolution twisters, both was slow as fck tho

Tell ya mate that refina 1000w is a great machine for small gear think it's about 180 smackers

As soon as the soft start has gone on it it’s shinpad city.

haha yeah. i had the old old megamixer with slow start was best mixer ever till it died. then got the h handle 1800 2 gear one which is still going but as said needs bearings or something

Get the vitrex, 2speed and has a dial to slow it right down. Only down side is the paddle is abit to short. If you have and extension bar you’re laughing. I don’t so just put it on a crate.

we are doing a huge refurb at the moment so a mega mix 1800v to mix the base coat euro cork, the 1800v to mix the second coat a lime system from Portugal. a small colomix about 1100v to mix the bucket lime finish.
