Lock down

Its scary now the number of divide and conquer techniques are being deployed by the media atm. Seems like a new one every few days. Covid,blm,vaccine supporters vs the anti vaxers, Harry and Megan fans vs non and now men vs woman.
I can see curfews being imposed for most and covid being used as a reason....
 
Covid resurgence in Europe will be the only proof required to stop holidays again this summer ..lockdowns are not practical long term as it limits peoples ability to earn and pay taxes...a curfew is the ideal middle ground. Goto work. Come home and stay in ...really miss the pubs but I'm so worried about our way of life and where this is all.going.

I'm not spouting it. I think the whole thing is a economic reset. I meant the govt will sell it to us as a reasonable middle ground. ..

Yeah, don't take it too personally - I was just shocked to see you stating that a curfew is a worthy compromise. I don't think a curfew would serve ANY real purpose other than to inflict unnecessary control on the public, with zero health benefit.

That aside, I share some of your suspicion about this so-called 'pandemic'.

what windy is saying is if a curfew was introduced it means people can not gather outside and potentially increase the risk of the virus spreading, the virus is here 24 hours a day,
nobody wants a lockdown

You've just clarified how absurd your own objection is, mate.

If people are interacting during the daytime, then stopping them interacting at night time is just shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, so to speak.

In any case, I'm not a believer in all the pandemic propaganda we've been subjected to, this past 15 months. All I am saying is that a curfew would be illogical and unnecessarily oppressive.

It would also make a mockery of the current vaccine-pushing.

I wasn't taking it to heart mate...but this has served to.prove they are excerting unnecessary control over us ..and at the same time not disclosing to the public who made millions out of all the govt ppe contracts. Mmmmmm

Maybe, maybe not, but the point is that if it is, it will not make any legitimate difference to a supposed pandemic. I think that although it will probably keep going for a while yet, time is nonetheless running out for the propaganda train.

I'd love to agree but I fear this is just the start...the curfew will be sold on the back of the virus and an element of safety for woman. I so hope I'm wrong
 
The government will easy restrictions proportionally with at risk groups having had both jabs ( + a few weeks ) on a balance of economy and NHS overload
Or if you like , in time for their summer hols

I go every other year. I've found it depends on where you go. I've had the marmaris experience and didn't like it...go to hisaranou or calis beach now different vibe

21 century and we can't cope whith a pandemic. They should spend money in right place over the last ten years so we would of being preaperd for this. They knew it was coming after Sars broke out 10 years a go. And in a way I think they love controlling the way we live!

True. My mate had a couple of dodgy episodes with random old men Recording his daughters on their phones.
 
If you take the time to look further than our news.. places are standing up to lockdowns.. Ireland is at breaking point. They have been in the toughest lockdowns from day one an still continue to get spikes. They are close to exploding.. other places are also standing up to it. The mainstream are doing a good job at not showing this material to give us any ideas so to speak. I don’t believe for a second people will allow such lockdowns to continue for much more.. there already lost the total lockdown in lockdown 2.. roads never stopped unlike the first lockdown.
