I know a kid who does alot with oak. Sells all off cutsI get kiln dried logs (store in garage) although they have doubled in price over last 3 or 4 years
Ash - brilliant - best
Oak - also very good - more orange look to flame but I never will get it again
Alder - lovely - not so intense heat more enjoyable burn
So no pine . Think I.ll chip it all up for kindlingI get kiln dried logs (store in garage) although they have doubled in price over last 3 or 4 years

Can You Burn Pine In A Wood Stove?
Pine is one of many different types of firewood available to burn in wood stoves. Pine is a softwood, and both softwood and hardwood logs have their place during fires, as each type has theirfireplaceuniverse.com
Both of those are lovely to use. A great scent off the cherry, although not cherry-like if that makes sense.Farmer used to give me as much cherry and Hawthorne as I could handle,
I miss that!

You’ll be burning pallets before you know it! Digging the nails out the ash and reusing em. LolSo what do you all burn . @essexandy told me to swerve pine . But online it says its fine if below 20 percent moisture .
I started off with just seasoned timber, now I burn anything so long as it’s dry wood with no paint on.So what do you all burn . @essexandy told me to swerve pine . But online it says its fine if below 20 percent moisture .
