Looking for an apprenticeship/traineeship Essex/london

Hello, I completed a plastering course last October/November I think it was and got NVQ level 1 in plastering, I learnt how to plaster a wall, ceiling, put beading up & how to put plasterboards up, I really enjoyed my time on the course and thought it'd be the right career choice for me, but since getting the NVQ no one gives me a second look because it's only level 1 so I need someone to take me on as an apprentice so I can get to level 2 and start my career in plastering, I have a CSCS card & have been working as a labourer on sites since December, i have basic tools aswell. Should note that I am 20 years old.

Hi mate why don't you give Andy from goldtrowel a call he has loads of plasterers going in there and local to u might be worth a bell mate

Yeah they just told me about courses, can't really pay the 1800 or whatever the price is plus I need to be on job while doing the course but I have to actually find a job first, thanks anyways
 
not sure how having a apprentice works heard a few on here say its a waste of time, from my experience of taking people on its not the paperwork they have but the attitude
you might have to travel out of london and look for a smaller firm

Hi thanks for the offer but things have changed and Im currently training to be a tiler.
