looking for Damp Proof Plasterers (Nationwide)

New to the forum but wanted to say hello and see if there are any Damp proof plasterers on here that are looking for some work now or in the new year.

Proten Services are looking for both PAYE and subcontractors to work on multiple contracts for both domestic and commercial projects on a nationwide level.

We would also be looking for additional skill sets to help us complete all areas of work.

Our services involve damp proofing, condensation control, woodworm and timber preservation treatments, dry rot eradication, structural repair including wall tie replacement, waterproofing to basements and radon gas testing and mitigation.

• Chemical damp proof course injection
• Removal of contaminated plaster
• Specialist replastering specifications
• Damp proof rendering
• Profiled vapour barrier membrane application
• Masonry protection application (Stormdry)
• Installation of condensation control units (Vericure)
• Property defect repair recommendations

All works are passed over by our contracts team after our surveyors have been to site to complete the report, so from that point of view we would carry the can if the surveyor has missed something or additional works have come up once the project has started.

Yes and every new build around where I live has to have a radon barrier fitted with a venting system below it

It's been a massive thing in Ireland for many years, every new build has to have a radon survey and venting

the local council come around with monitors and select older properties at random and, we have had one in the house before for a month or so apparently it was at acceptable levels
