Hi we’re Loking for some help please sorry I know very little about plastering !! we have had some plastering done so we had artex on our walls and our plaster has boarded them but we have noticed a lot of damp stains on the walls we have had a look online and read that it could be deboning ? The picture below is a internal wall that joins on to our neighbour with out any previous damp issues

Would that be moisture be from the dabs then ? And will it eventually dry out that was done around the last week of February? And will it leave a stain on the wall ?
It should have dried by now. Seems to me there’s damp there coming through. Where in the house is this wall? What type of property is it?

That's a simple case of bridging from the wall to the plaster board!! Just hope he's scratched the artex heavily and used sbr as the primer!! Core drill a hole and see if the boards have bonded sufficiently!! Drill by a dab spot and see if it can be pull loose by moderate pulling! Don't worry about the marks they are comon during slow drying in cooler atmospheres...

Also make sure that you have air bricks in the wall even if its a 9inch brick to brick wall..

We think they just knocked the raised bits from the artex and covered the wall with pva. This is probably the worst wall and it has a radiator on it the hearing has been on most evenings for a couple of hours for since mid March
