What do you guys think of these threaded extensions for your mixer so don't have to hunch over so much when mixing?

Do they put extra strain on the mixers? Burn out brushes?

Thanks in advance for any info!

I've always just bought a longer paddle, I avoid bending as much as I can

I’ve had one on mine for many years. Saves my back and hasn’t had an effect on the mixer. Worth buying imo

I tried them but the problem is it makes the mixer long and then susceptible to bending and getting a speed wobble

No such problems with the de Walt cordless mixer.

My festool mixer had an extension bit on it never had any issues at all.

Think I may have to order one. I'm only 5.11 but using a mega mixer and hunching long term can't be good. Lol generally plastering full stop can't be good on the body!

I bought a 300mm extension and it was one of the best investments I ever made.
Used to get back ache all the time from mixing.
I use a MixM8 and with the extension it is 900mm from mixer to paddle tip.
I'm only 5'11", you can buy longer ones if you're a lanky git.
