Would depend on price and usage Flynny! - With used gear, you always a take a chance, at least with new you know what your getting.

Still - at the right price... may be interested.

he paid 5k and he wanted 4k that was about a year ago and it had only been used once or twice if he still has it he will probably want less.

Just an update on the spray textured finish I needed for the job mentioned in the thread.

I hired an M100, and for a for a final measure of just short of a 1000m2 (including balconies, bulkheads and boxed sectons), the job was completed in 3 1/2 days with 3 men (one tending machine, one spraying and one touching in).

Awesome piece of kit, although to look at it, the machine doesn't look up to much - but the final finish is flawless. I had the speed at setting 3 and this was fine for my needs.

I will not apply bucket coat by hand again! Will def be investing in one for the future!

Nice one , glad you got sorted, who did you hire it off ? , it's always good to know where people are hiring machines out and how they coped, been using a Maltech ( g4 copy ) as off late from Markham at Sheffield , great set up

I have seen the Ritmo spraying bucket coat but only as a sprayed texture finish, not troweled up flat as per hand applied. If you was to spray this for a troweled finish wouldn't you need a load of spreads behind you keeping up with the sprayer? I would think 1 or even 2 spreads would be quickly nackered keeping up with a machine.

im also interested in how the ritmo sprays buckets on with the jet set and bigger compressor.if you want a smooth finish instead of a stipple kind of look do you still need to float it with the plastic float or will it finish off the gun?im getting a ritmo L sent out to oz and acrylic renders are big out here would be great if i can spray the render on and not have to go back to finish it

From PFTCentral - the closest to my location. It was delivered and collected upon completion. I had a training session a couple of weeks before hiring it and a good mess about with it.

I had no problems using the machine, easy to set up/clean and move around. The only issue we had whilst running it was the odd blockage at the nozzle, though this was easy to put right.

Never heard of Maltech. Looked them up and I think they are italian. I thought PFT would have had some copy right but it seems any one can copy them. Theres MAU ? Thats a copy as well but the last time I looked they cost more tham PFT.

Heres a set up of the Maltech

Maltech M5-EVO - Plastering machine - YouTube

I noticed they didn't bleed it. They set the water and filled the chamber but didn't let water come out when at the right level?

Think I will stick with PFT. Built to last and parts are easy to get hold of.
