marble plastering....anyone?

I figured more eyes would see this here so feel free to move it if you prefer folks.
Basically, is there anyone in stoke on Trent or not too far away who does marble plastering who wouldn't mind me tagging along for a couple of days to watch? I've never seen it done and would love to. I'd be happy to help any way i could and obviously would do the cuppa and butty run.
I'm not expecting to be taught how to do it or anything, just want to see it being done.

i do have a job in a hotel foyer to cover up some marble plastering as it looks shat, the architecs words not mine.
