What's a dry hard wall? .....why do you start right at the bottom and not from the middle and push the gear down to save you're back? And is the room being coved you're second coat will shrink back on the ceiling lines because you didn't first coat the angles properly and are they having 8 inch skirting?

You seem to be forgetting that you only have half a trowel full left on your handboard. As you get more experienced you will recognise this by a slight release of pressure off the small toe of the left foot.

Hope this helps, I have lots more advice if needed.

the wall was floated with hard wall and it dryed out, thats why it looks like that, yes it is having cove ,floore is being screeded and 5in skirting,,

i spotted it but gave you the benifit of the doubt that it was being coved, i always start the bottom half of the wall at the bottom bed i see no difference in starting in the middle still have to bend down to bring it down from the middle anyway

I cant stop laughing didnt realise it was Flat Boy in the vid when i posted, a bit pissed nearly 1500 posts and a 2 week courser some people aint paying attention:RpS_biggrin:

I did look and see he has been registered for 2yrs or so.didnt seem to matter though, everyone just wants to slag everyone else off.he had the balls to put up his vid to be shot down, maybe everyone should do the same?

I think spunk was basically saying could a machine have possibly done it any quicker, never seen one except on vids etc and I reckon it would probably be probably a bit longer just too get it on the wall, let alone flattening it.

this is the finished wall,,full of fat lol

oooooo you know how to make it stripey too, do you stroke yourself while checking out old stripey wall pics?

His wall was far more difficult than yours though. I would like to see you taking on more technical tasks before passing final judgement!
