if you do a job for a big developer its the same price for a full mesh or for mesh to openings or even no mesh so yes we charge an extra pound a metre

How much do you charge for labour for laying in the mesh just as you trowel over your first pass ? ? its only a fraction of time

in fact you still do the same in a day weather it took longer in the process or not......

depends what sort of work it is. i appreciate site and domestic are very different. if i was for example getting say £12p/m, no i would fully mesh for £12. depends how many of you are on the elevation etc but its a ballache for the same price. i could spray on a lift in 1 pass, or 2 quick passes, or i could put on a tight one, **** about cutting mesh, bedding it in, then another pass, the the same all the way down. i no youd only put on the same amount regardless coz its what you can finish thats relevant, but inside we have hardwall at a rate @11mm if it was 20mm, id want more coz its more work. same as meshing. even tho id still only float the same amount @11mm or 20mm coz id still have to skim it.

Dont forget when we do thick work were set up with a pump and will have an area planned for the day - that area still gets sprayed in the same time if its mesh or not plus we spray two passes so its easy to lay a mesh layer in the first pass and flash the spatch over it, time meshing isnt affecting the overall day whatsoever.

Sorry mate I don't get it you have to cut the mesh so say a bloke did 120m a day that's between 1.20 and 1.50 bottom rate labour then you have to stick ort on the wall, you could say the same for beading do that for nothing too

ill always put additional money on if your fully meshing, as it takes time particularly if theres a load of openings etc.
but john charges a fortune for mono so its covered i guess :RpS_laugh:
