Is it being manufactured from some really exotic metal like that adamantium stuff off of wolverines claws?.
Hope This is going to be worth the wait.
although I really appreciate you nipping over to the factory personally to G Them up a bit.

ok............

so i know im guna get hung for saying it but here goes..............

tbh...i find all this s*p*r*lex malarkey all a bit emberrasing...

i mean come on its getting a bit like the BG Unifinish saga!!!!

seriously how many bloody additions/alterations need to be made before there fit for purpose!!! ???

surley it would have made a hell of a lot of more sense to of had a decent quantity road tested for a yr and then ironed all the problems out before putting out to the general public???

il be honest i probabley would of bought 1 by now but every time i log on theres some mention of a faulty 1....i appreciate that you replace foc but tbh that wouldn't be satisfactory for me id just want my money back and go back to a normal trowel!!!

sorry if this is going to be unpopular but just my 2pence worth!!!

It's a fair point to say to be honest mate.

With over 12,000 on the market and less than 100 faults it's still a pretty good statistic to be fair. We haven't even hit our 1st year yet.

Sometimes it's not down to testing etc, which they have been in Germany for years. Sometimes people who supply things to manufacturers can let them down

We have now got to the bottom of it and Solved the issues hence releasing the new one

Certainly is fit for purpose just had a few mistakes a long the way. You learn from experience really and it's how you deal with it that counts

the problem you have now though ryan is that your consumer has lost confidence before youe had chance to get off fhe blocks!!!

I wouldn't say confidence has been lost mate. People may look at it that way but everything on the market has its issues and are constantly being improved.

It's a tough one for us, but the way you need to look at it, the reviews we have on the products are fantastic and there are real benefits using it. A small 'detect' beyond our control has caused an issue.

The strength lies in the performance of the product and how the relevant companies deal with it

I had a faulty Nela Midgetflex .... sorted as soon as I contacted Ryan .... As a Refina man I didn't come on here banging on about it nor decide I didn't want a replacement ... awesome little trowel :)

i appreciate where your coming from ryan and as percentage i agree the statistics look great.....

BUT....heres the bottom line people must be put off by the bad press...if im thinking it and tbf im generaly pretty open minded then plenty of other people must be thinking it....

and i can guarantee you the percentage that have bothered to let you know that the products broken will only be the tip of the iceburg....i bet theres at least the same again and some that will have just thrown them in the bin never foned you up and just got there normal skimming trowel back on the wall...

plasterers and plastering is a time sensitive trade and breed a certain tradesman and i assure you more will just crack back on with the task in hand than spend time phoning for refunds etc

Lots of different manufacturers or companies may not share the same views and passions as myself and NELA

We could easily ignore the fact it's happened and continue selling as they are flying out. But that's not us..

We want to provide the best products and will do what we can to achieve this.

Unfortunately things happen, it's life. We learn from it and move forward.

One bad bit of press gets noticed more than 1000 good reviews.

Is the way you need to look at the bigger picture.

Plenty of cars, tools etc have had issues. The iPhone for example... Pretty sure most people in here still have one.

It's a hard thing for me as its us losing the potential customers due to it. But we have held our hands up and are sorting the issues, although minor. We are actively sorting it out

sounds about right, if I get some tool and its crap, it gets binned, I wouldnt come on a forum and say its crap... apart from the speedskim, buts thats only because someone asked... I tried a few '' new '' gadgets and use what I prefer, the rest are in the garage, should sell em really, but cant be arsed..lol

It's amazing how many we get call up and buy another, I recongise the name and say dont you have one... They say yes but it's bent, or has come apart.

They call for another as they believe and know it's worth it :-)

@zombie have you never tried either flexi trowel then?.

Not all will post a bad comment ,i have brought things which are faulty ,but will pm the person if there is a problem ,just think that,s fare ,then if they do nothing ,sing from the tree tops !!

I think some people post comments as in the past it's been easy for companies to hide away from things and ignore it.

People have lost faith if you look at it..

That's why we are upfront with everything and here for our customers
