Moisture boards

But wheres the evidence that there have failed? Do u honestly think there would build 100s and 100s of thousands houses per year and not be a thing zbout them all failing you wet lemon
say what you fkin want lurpy you can't argue with official specifications on materials.

I wasn't in the business of cutting corners but then again I never stepped foot on a site in over 35 years in trade.

question I want to know is why are moisture boards getting skimmed in the first place?

totally fkin pointless

Sometimes they only skim the none tilled area's like the top half and ceilings

so it's not only the spreads that aren't doing their jobs properly then?

again doesn't surprise me on sites.

we've all seen the results of poor workmanship on new builds and not just the plastering
Yeah the sites are appalling the standard of workmanship overall is really bad site management don't have a clue they just throw them up and all the trades are just expected to get over each others f**k ups

But it dosnt make a difference or you would have 100 of thousands of houses failing every year.it would be outlawed.you know I'm right carl

hahaha the day I take anything a site slag says seriously is the day I will kiss wee McBaldys head
Noone on a plastering site has ever heard of skim falling off moisture board & they never will. Almost 100% of plastering isn't done to spec including all of yours. BG say you should use bondit don't they?
