I done a few of these, one of the times it was brick underneath which I wasn't expecting, you probably already checked unlike me but if not price for render board and if it's brick its a bonus though I'm sure none of the companies have a mono system for board except parex' EHI.
No its not mate put beads on after the maite mesh and scratchWon't putting mono over 10mm beads be too thin thought the min was 15mm scratched back
The mono reps will tell you that so you needlessly spend more on materials !! Isnt that right Mr Parex Mr Weber and worst of all Mr KrendWon't putting mono over 10mm beads be too thin thought the min was 15mm scratched back

In that case i say old school sand cement either pebble or rough cast (old school not your fancy machines doing itfor you) would like to see how many are still capable of doing the old school way before its too late??In fairness, none of them set regs for water penetration and building control is currently all over it.
Some parts of the UK are now at 20mm minimum.
If you have a warrantied spec from any of them at 10mm I'd like to see it.
Dont be daft pal id be glad to help you outNice one Greg I'll be in touch nearer the time pal

Is mostly dash & sand cement finish. Everyone's too tight to use modern gear over here lol.

I know what your saying but some extensions require render to match the traditional existing etc. My point was there is alot of skill in doing traditional sand cement render wether it be flat plain rubbed, pebble dash, wet dash, ashlar jointing etc as opposed to modern finishes which seem much easier to do?You'd be surprised what I'd been involved in over the years, but no, recreating the 1960s council estate look, not really had much call for it.
Bespoke Stone, Brick, and Amusement Park displays over Europe were my speciality back in the day.
