Hi peeps iv been asked to tyrolean over old roughcast.
the guy got a load of (white webber pral m) 14 bags
can you use a tyrolean gun to flick/spray the pral m over the old rough cast?
if so what sort of primer will i need to use? and will i need to apply a first coat then mesh then apply finish coat with tyrolean gun?
iv sprayed pral m with a machine (rought cast finish)
if never tryed to apply pral m over old painted render with a tyrolean gun.

iv asked about using prebagged tyrolean but i was told ill still need to paint it after as its silver????
im trying the achieve a white tyrolean finish with out having the paint it.
at the price of tyrolean from jewsons £26 per bag i dont really want to pay that then have to paint it after.

can anyone help me out please ??????????

its blown in places the plan was to to just hack off the blown gear then wet it down build up the patch work then flick spray pral m over the lot theres only about 8/m2 to tyrolean and about 3/4 patches to sort out

I would hack it off ,you have 12 bags of mono that will do 12m2 ,it will then be a good job done

Keith has given some good advice, trying to patch the roughcast and spray will look sh1t and wont be as long lasting as doing new.

i would hack it all off, render the area, tyrolean spray with a sand and cement coat very lightly then paint it white. return the webber and get your money back.
