Mono over old block work

Hi lads would you treat an old block wall before applying weber pral m it's been hidden behind a fence for a few years will be brushed down but would it need anything else ?

If you don't mind mixing products then just micro it or render grip.
A good wash as Wezly says is a must though.

The pores will have collected dust, cob webs etc. If you are using Weber then the blocks need to be 7 newton if not rend aid it.

The other bonus to using rendaid is you can mesh it. Saves pissing about meshing the mono. Just put your stress patches in as normal

I don't mix products mate as we're quite strong on the full systems but I can't see any problems if someone wanted me to do it I would.
