monocouche finishing trouble

Hi all just signed up the the forum, only just starting getting into the monocouche render struggling to fine the best way to finish it? I beam it then scratch it or just scratch? Plus how do get out a flat spot?

i beam all over to five you the flat finish.

you use the scratch pad lighty to take out any low spots or marks left by the beam.

be careful though. scratch too far back you will get bold or ghosting which is 1st coat or basecoat grinning. which then im afraid is game over
