based near worthing sussex
nearly 30 years of this torture under the belt
over 20 odd on site, last 6 or seven doin work for local builders/domestic and developerers
not much i havnt witnessed in our game after all these years
but u never stop learnin as proven by trying a plastic trowel a few weeks ago lol

Welcome john , been at it a long time myself, also using the new stuff, speed skim and spats , how do you like the plastic trowels ?

yea got a refina 14 inch the one with the midget trowel handle and cant believe how much easier it is on the body, as well as leaving a much better finish,
only thing is the handle feels to far towards the heel so im goin to adapt an old trowel to replace the midget so the handle is a tad further forward, apart from that its all good,
iv got a few fair size houses to tack stick n skim in the near future so will try a 1.2 eezy skim is it ? to help the old bod a bit more lol

yea cheers dan done a lot of work over your way in the past

spent 5 years on a site in aldwick just along the coast from bognor
a builder i do work for used to do lot of work in elmer as well-nice n peaceful along there and the local shop does awsome pies lol
where does most of your work come from mate ?

To be honest I dont do a great deal any more the forum keeps me busy and the other bits I do online etc :-)

Yep love the village we are in nice and quiet :-)
