Been plastering 30 years god it’s crap now however I have noticed having the same batch of bags in van going to different properties on the same boards are performing completely differently the only altering ingredient is the water have taken water off a job where it went well to a house i was struggling at and it completely changed for the better
You have picture of your beauty?

multi finish is shite

I used to work with an old boy 25 ish years ago who knocked up small amounts, hobbled around a room all day long huffing and puffing and then went home having done more than lads 20 years younger than him, he just rolled on all day long no problem, young lads were leaving knackered, didn’t listen to the video but maybe he knocks up what he can lay in 15 minutes and then just rolls on all day long, still gets the work out and maybe more than those that think they have earned themselves a place to put each other down.

My old man was very similar towards the end of his time on site. Four or five little moves a day, usually overlapped. He never mixed up more than eight litres of water worth of finish at a time and was always using nice fresh gear.
I've told him about the guys that mix up three-plus bags at a time and then scoop it out of the tub for both coats. He just laughed.
