Wouldn’t surprise me that Carlite finish was so much better than that s**t when we had the shortage in lockdownI laid up this morning 2 coats trowelled it once popped out for a smoke when the went back in was going black but still felt wet/greasy recycling it with other s**t again I reckon
I never tried itWouldn’t surprise me that Carlite finish was so much better than that s**t when we had the shortage in lockdown
Never liked multi, carlite finish could be a bit greasy at times, my favourite was grey board finish. The plaster up here in Scotland was grey both backing coats and finish I've often wondered why it changed to pink.Wouldn’t surprise me that Carlite finish was so much better than that s**t when we had the shortage in lockdown

Probably better off one coating and sponge .Literally couldn’t do f**k all with it
I first used multi in about 97, up to that point it was carlite finish and board and both were grey. I do remember we did a job around 1986 where we were metal lathing steel beams ready for plastering and it was pink. It was called metal lathing plaster and the under coat was very much like pink bonding, the finishing plaster was like pink carlite. While I'm at it british gypsum renovating plaster/finish was pink, but it was only only used after damp proofing. The only grey I know was bonding coat I came across quite a few times, and the grey in my f**k**g hair from these kids, how do you find it now it’s all pink can you tell any difference,@Casper have you used both grey and pink gear aswell

I had some terrible stuff a few years ago, the only way I could get an acceptable finish was to put a carpet float over it.It was awful yesterday quite embarrassing to be honest literally couldn’t do f**k all with it

The multi is cheesy enough without putting more on!Might have to invest in a sponge but quick question will the one I scrub my balls with work??
