lol but what sort of material is sakret ??? is it a mono type render/bucket render or just a different type of cement ?
ive scoured the internet and can only find a german website !!??? does anybody know of any uk stockist that i could contact

That's what it thought it's a possible bucket coat, weird how it's different sizes for the wall and the plinth

Not contradicting themselves they say plain faced with graining finish, it could be something like Marmorits noblo our equivalent if it's too be painted, bit thick though innit?

Used Sakret in Germany many years ago , nice stuff , finishes nice, it's basically an ocr base rend then sounds as though its topped with a mineral top coat , and their plinth render is just the same as other manufacturers , try to get the system changed to one that's easier to get hold of such as marmorit, parex erc

the 2.5mm cross grain finish are they talking about church finish ? where on the finish coat a straight edge is held against the wall and with a sharpe sand mix you drag a float in the upright position, horizontal to expose a cross grain finish. so that the grit leaves like a tracts

when you say mineral render do you mean bucket render ??

I did a big curved wall for my cousin a few months back and did it in krends hp12. Finished it with a sponge float and it left a really nice finish. Looks flat but it has a fine grain to it also.
