I have a concrete internal block wall, that’s been sand and cement rendered. Ultimately I want to paint the wall.
What product do I skim with, I was thinking if I Pva the block rendered wall first, two coats, then give it two coats of Multi finish?
or do I have to bond the wall first, using British Gypsum Bonding coat, then multifinish On top? Is that best? Do you Pva first, rendered wall inside?
Next question, the ceiling has some low spots, pre skimming with multifinish, should I use bonding on ceiling to even out low spots pre applying multi finish on top.
if I did this can I bond one day let it go hard overnight, then Pva and skim Next day, must it be Pva in between coats of plaster?
If you did both in the same day bond in the morning, give it two hours to cure a bit, do you Pva pre thistle multifinish on top? How long do you wate in between coats average inside tempature, before applying multifinish on a damp bonding undercoat should it be Pva pre multi? Or woul I be better to use Hard wall as a base coat on the ceiling lowspots and for the wall base coat pre skimming
