Hi all, considering buying a s*p*r*lex trowel but not sure which is best. My mate bought two nelas at the beginning of the year and the steel laminate separated. Have they been improved?

The nela feels like part of your hand when you use it, class trowel, cant comment on refina as not used it.

they're all just grumpy cos the cold weather means they dont get home till 3pm instead of 1.30pm like they do in the summer......some of these lads have done a full 6 hour day today

If that's the nela description? Then the refina is like being in prison and having to pull off Big Denzel or your going to get it in the showers!! It's not like your own but you kind of enjoy doing /using it

Yep defo first gauge was cola bottles and space mix follow by gumming bears then the shoelaces wine gums and jelly babies had me on a downer but space dust pear drops and uncle joes mint balls saw me through as did a large bottle of gin and a few export

Gauges going on at 7am, 10 am, 1pm bit of prep/tidy load out leave 4.30 home 4.45.
Tea at 5pm.

Its all ive known for over 25years keith if i was no good at it by now id of found a new gig long ago, its not a hard job to the well organised.
I hate the wind and rain and shitty scaffolds and awkward access so 3 gauges a day inside is how I make my living.
