Don't do it everyday to be honest, but do those times if I feel like it [emoji51]
Probably have two gauge days twice a week

Sometimes 20 lol, Ive been spoiled the last few years having had 3 big sites all within 20mins of home.
These have now pretty much finished so i suppose I may start having longer drives.

Just a quick note on the blade coming away in Nela's.
I have one that I twatted off the floor and bent up the corner, it was bolloxed.
I kept it for scrimming up, and as it is nice & sharp use it for cutting back boards that are proud on external angles & scraping Snots of skim of walls, it gets some awful abuse and the blade is stuck as well as the first day I got it.

I have a Nela 14 inch s*p*r*lex,one of the original ones about 15 months now and it's still great after a lot of use.It is razor sharp and I'll probably get another one soon just to have on standby.As with any trowel they have to be looked after.
