I used the plaziflex for a good 2 years and swore by it and now I'm back the my m/t.

Reason being I was fed up of sanding out nicks, worring about beads and not being able to apply pressure.

I use 1 trowel from laying on to polishing comes up lovley everytime.

Are you asking me how many trowels I use? if you are I got a 14 inch marshalltown that does my whole sets....not interested in experimenting for a good while yet. Result is consistant which is all I want at the minute.
:musculoso:

And you get a 8.5 out of 10 finish

And all you need if your getting it right, stick with it, all this experimenting is bullshit.
Yeah im fine for now with just the one trowel, I think a lot start to experiment because of 20 odd years of elbow/wrist abuse and they're trying to help limit further damage.....my wrist and elbow are all brand new so not worth it yet.

What u say about 1 trowel is right to an extent but. I do domestics and have 5 trowels all of different lengths..
Some I don't use for weeks but when the occasion is needed they r there.example above door openings, tight margins, etc,,,
Panels too tight for a long trowel.you can only trowel in one direction.if you have a door with a 10 inch panel your 14 inch trowel will only fit one way.

Yeah I got an 11 inch, 8 inch, pipe trowel and some little margin trowels for around sockets, meant more that the main finish is just regular trowel from start to finsh. The 14 hardly ever fits above doorways on the houses ive been on so far.

Correct, all the trowels I have, have a purpose. One trowel is only practical on unrestricted hits.pictures help.u can't cross trowel with a 14" above this door.and it needed it thick artex pattern below.
