And thats fair enough as long as your consistent, however if next week your using an ox to scrape the floor because youve been given a pick up full of feebie ox gear then that in my opinion isn't.

My first Nela s*p*r*lex fell apart ... but was replaced FOC with no problem.
The replacement is a year old now & showing no sign of coming unstuck yet.

I just find with the sort of shite jobs I do, the narrow width more useful between sockets & down the side of architrives.

I have a 16" Nela and an 18" Refina, but the Nela does the most mileage.

I do think the Nela could do with a slightly shorter mounting plate, making the toe & heel more useable.
this is where the refina scores points in my opinion.

Both could do with being tougher - But I have just come to accept them as disposable items I guess.

Remember reading you couldn't finish with yours but just presumed it was a premium

Skimming flats that were boarded 3 weeks ago ...walls damp as f**k.
Poor spread next door still trowling his 1st hit with his nela......complaining his sets wont finish haha.
I was mixing for 8 he was coating when I pulled up at 7.30.
Im half hour away from finishing 2nd set
....he must of gone over his set at least 15 times.
Poor f**k**s looks knackered.

It's not a super flex just a normal nela trowel I can run my fingers along the edge, it's 20" but the front seems to curve in too much so it's not getting the finish square in the angles. The steel must be too thick and I always finish with my Refina which is as sharp as a blade but the front rivit has gone so not the right shape to put on.

Is it the improved premium from November 2014?? The first ones were awful
 
I have a newer model premium and love it apart from the last trowel you can use it straight from the box (y)
 
Ive just took delivery of a 18" plaziflex from nela as my refina plaza has died so will give it a go but my first impression are, it comes in a nice box
