Not surprised at all the last Charles church show house i saw about 5 years ago on a 4m run of coving had 5 joints in it.
 
Greedy bastards! If they paid the rightful money to the traids and worry less for their own wellbeing this wouldn't happen.

Me and my eldest lad from time to time do work for a chap who was the founder of a volume builder and i can assure you any works carried out on his country estate are done using the best materials and no quarter is given on quality of fit and finish.

I got a call to help on 25 units that need completing for the 21st for persimmon homes.....I could only imagine the chaos.
2 Charles church sites im on are quite tidy.
Hasn't been any customer complaints as far as I know.
It's down to poor management most of the time.....slowing it down then rushing the fuuck out of it.
 
Wonder what site rates and conditions are like in countries like Japan,Australia, Canada, Sweden,Switzerland,Holland,Spain,Greece!
 
Just had a long conversation with a friend of mine in Germany. Nothing still hasn’t changed there . He’s on 3,5-4K and pays 400 euros for huge apartment +30euros bills. No Saturdays or Sundays . His spendings are no more than 20-25% .

Yes, but if they increase the price and put a cap on the daily m2 - say you earn £3-400 , that will take the pressure away and will guarantee much better quality. Somehow I don’t see it happening.

the big rush at christmas is for the site agents bonus. then they will spend jan. putting it right.
